Your Personality & Self Awareness
* We are all unique and complex. We all have our own mixture of genes, in-utero and birth experiences, our own upbringing—and what we have learned to believe about ourselves from that—and our own set of positive and negative influences from the many people who have impacted us in our lives.
No one theory exists that fits everyone’s history and the ways in which our own personality has developed. We all go through life with our gaps in the essence of who we are and we have very little opportunity to really understand what has shaped how we have turned out as adults.
We will have spent many years at school, college and perhaps university—but how much of that time was spent on learning about yourself? You may have degrees in academic subjects and yet know very little about your relationship with yourself and with other people, even though these are fundamental to a happier life.
With the right guidance we can explore how our own family backgrounds have moulded us into who we are today, and how this affects every aspect of our current lives. Realising the ways in which the influences of our childhood subsequently influence our decisions and behaviours today is crucial to changing and enhancing the way we live.
Learning how to unblock your life, gain emotional balance, mental clarity and a greater awareness of your own needs will enable you to live your life to its fuller potential—not shackled to the past conditioning and programming of your family, and not having to wear a mask in order to be thought of as OK by other people.
Self-knowledge and awareness is both empowering and liberating. We can become free, authentic and the master of our own ship—in both the calm seas, and as we navigate safely through life’s inevitable storms.
This online workshop module will help you to find out much more about who you are, and why; and offer you information about child and personality development and the influences upon your brain’s development; the role of emotional attachment and its effects upon many areas of your life.
You’ll also get an understanding of how your own family system has shaped you and the decisions you have made about your life; the ways in which your authenticity has been squashed and the many ways that the ‘false’ self is expressed in your everyday life.
This will bring you greater self awareness, self-knowledge and improved emotional intelligence; as well as the opportunity to think about, explore and set your own personal goals based upon your new understanding and perspective.
